Wellness to Work

Team Project (4 Members)Misha, Finley, Anna, Salma≈ 3 months / 1 semester

Overview

Wellness-to-Work is a chronotype-based scheduling app that integrates productivity metrics with wellness support. It detects users' energy peaks and suggests when to focus, rest, or socialize — helping remote workers avoid burnout and regain balance.

Research Findings

  • Interviewed 10 remote professionals and 3 HR specialists.
  • 90% cited blurred work-life boundaries as a major stressor.
  • Existing tools (e.g., Google Calendar, Asana) lacked well-being integration.

Key Features

  • Personalized scheduling and productivity tracking
  • AI-driven task prioritization based on energy peaks
  • Guided breathing and micro-break prompts
  • Wellness analytics dashboard combining stress level + task completion

Design Process

  • Empathy mapping and persona creation for 3 user types (manager, freelancer, new hire).
  • Developed mid-fi Figma prototypes and conducted A/B testing on interface density.
  • Feedback loop through surveys and live usability sessions with 8 testers.

Outcome

Test users reported a 28% boost in task completion rates and reduced perceived stress. The project validated the idea that chronotype alignment and micro-wellness cues improve productivity and long-term remote engagement.
